Broken boards, oil and acrylic paints, charcoal pastels, plastic resin and melted waxes are his preferred mediums.
His creations are beaten, brushed, sanded, polished and hung. Evan says this process helps to give his art the appearance that it could have been created in the 20th century rather than the 21st.
