Intenze kicks off their “Never Fade” video series featuring Mark Mahoney. Intenze will be honoring four people a year as “Never Fade” artists. The series will pay respect to the men and women who stood up to a world that wasn’t always ready for the cultural shifts associated with tattooing.

Maëlle Andre is a 22 year old photographer based in Brussels, Belgium. She chooses to work with natural light only.
Maëlle started her photography project “Tattoos” in June of 2009 and has no ending date in sight.
Rudy-Jan Faber is a concept artist and illustrator from Leeuwarden, Netherlands.
The new video for “Strange Enough” by N.A.S.A. (”North America South America”) featuring Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Fatlip of The Pharycyde, and Ol’ Dirty Bastard of Wu Tang (RIP). It’s said that these were the last recorded lyrics by ODB.
The animation includes original artwork by Stephan Doitschinoff. Lorna T and Studio Giblets directed the video while it was produced by Terence Teh.

American Prison Tattoos is a photo story by Robert Gumpert that explores the meanings behind prisoners’ tattoos in Californian penitentiaries.
“Tattoos may be becoming the norm but before their surge in popularity, tattoos were the province of society’s outcasts: sailors, artists, carnies and outlaws – acting as road maps of their lives: who they were, what they had done, their loves, desires, their sorrows and pains.”
Bob Roberts and Bert Krak show Ladies Welcome opens at the Known Gallery in LA July 31st. The show runs through August 21st.
