Kanye West’s video for “Power”. Directed by Marco Brambilla.
”Power shows a continuous camera move from extreme close-up of Mr. West revealing an a neoclassical video tableau showing characters and creatures surrounding him in an abstract environment – all moving in extreme slow motion. Inspired by Michelangelo’s frescos in the Sistine Chapel, the piece depicts a faux historical moment – an empire on the brink of collapse from its own excess, decadence and corruption.”
The new video for “Strange Enough” by N.A.S.A. (“North America South America”) featuring Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Fatlip of The Pharycyde, and Ol’ Dirty Bastard of Wu Tang (RIP). It’s said that these were the last recorded lyrics by ODB.
The animation includes original artwork by Stephan Doitschinoff. Lorna T and Studio Giblets directed the video while it was produced by Terence Teh.
The video for “Follow Me Down” by UNKLE with guest vocals by Sleepy Sun. The video features super model Liberty Ross and was directed by Warren du Preez & Nick Thornton Jones.
